GRAND FORKS ? A big thank you needs to go out to the Grand Forks Park District and staff member John Staley, Bill Palmiscno and others for their efforts to create enjoyable activities for the young people of Grand Forks.
A special favorite is the Lincoln Youth Golf Course. My hope is that more people will become aware of this great place to take their children to, to get them involved with golf.
If the youngster does not have clubs, they are available in the club house at no charge. Likewise, there is no charge for the youth course, which now is a nine-hole course.
It?s a wonderful chance to get out and enjoy quality time with the whole family and to create a lifelong love for the game.
